The best swimwear brands in India for women depend on your budget and what you need the swimsuit to do. Shivan & Narresh and Nadi Nadi lead the luxury end, IZSI and Voyara sit in the mid-range, and Blissclub is the pick for swimming and fitness. For the widest choice in one place, The Beach Company stocks several labels, including plus-size and modest lines.

A note before you read: we're Voyara, a swimwear brand, so we've included ourselves. We've tried to be fair about where we fit and where other brands do something better.

How we chose these brands

Every brand on this list is Indian, sells women's swimwear online, and has its own website. We looked at four things: price, size range, design and what each brand does best. Prices were checked on each brand's website on 15 October 2026 and change with sales, so treat them as a guide.

The brands in detail

Shivan & Narresh: best for luxury holiday wear

Shivan & Narresh was among the first Indian labels to treat swimwear as fashion rather than function. Its bikinis, maillots and trikinis come in signature prints with draping, ruching and colour-blocking. Expect luxury prices, with bikinis from about ₹18,950. Choose it for a once-in-a-lifetime trip where the swimsuit is the statement.

Nadi Nadi: best for designer swim dresses

Nadi Nadi makes swimsuits, swim sets and swim dresses in distinctive prints, priced at about ₹8,000 to ₹16,000. It's a good fit if you want something unusual and are happy to pay designer prices. Check sizing carefully: the brand says returns and exchanges are generally not accepted.

IZSI: best for bold prints and custom fits

IZSI designs its own florals and bold prints, and offers customised fits in its prints through Instagram. Its underwired balconette top and belted one-piece sit at about ₹3,400 to ₹3,990 before sale prices. It's a strong choice if standard sizes rarely fit you.

Voyara: best for swimwear with matching cover-ups

That's us. We started Voyara because we couldn't find swimwear with good design at a fair price. Most of our bikinis and monokinis cost ₹1,499 to ₹3,899, and many come as sets with a matching sarong, skirt or kimono. Our monokinis and shapewear swimwear run from S to 4XL, with tummy-control and high-waist styles.

Where we're not the best pick: if you want a luxury designer label, or swimwear built for lap swimming, other brands on this list do that better. Most of our bikinis currently stop at size L.

Woman Like U: best for shopping by body type

Woman Like U calls itself a vacation wear brand and designs around Indian body proportions rather than UK or US sizing. Its site lets you shop by body type, which is handy if you're unsure where to start. Swimwear we saw ranged from about ₹1,899 to ₹4,299 on sale.

Blissclub: best for swimming and fitness

Blissclub is the practical pick if you swim regularly. Elle India reports that it uses chlorine-resistant fabric with UPF 40+ sun protection and anti-ride-up fits. Its swim dresses give extra coverage and were about ₹1,599 to ₹2,199 on sale.

Papaaya Swimwear: best for mix-and-match bikinis

Papaaya sells bikini tops and bottoms separately, so you can choose a different size for each. Tops have adjustable straps and removable cups, and sizes run from XS to XL. Note that some tops run small, so check the size guide.

The Beach Company: best for choice in one place

The Beach Company is a multi-brand store rather than a single label. It stocks several Indian swimwear brands, with separate sections for plus-size and modest swimwear, plus beach accessories. It's a good first stop if you want to compare styles from different brands.

How to choose the right swimwear brand for you

Start with what the swimsuit is for, then narrow by budget and size.

  1. Decide what you'll do in it. Lounging and photos open up almost any brand. Regular swimming calls for chlorine-resistant fabric and a secure fit.
  2. Set a budget. Under ₹3,000 gets you good everyday swimwear. ₹3,000 to ₹6,000 buys more design detail and sets with cover-ups. Above that you're paying for designer prints and craftsmanship.
  3. Check the size range first. Many Indian brands stop at XL. If you wear larger sizes, filter by size before you fall for a design.
  4. Read the returns policy. Policies vary widely, from easy size exchanges to no returns at all. This matters more with swimwear than almost anything else you buy online.
  5. Look for real fit details. Adjustable straps, removable cups, lining and tummy-control panels tell you more than product photos do.

If you're still working out which styles flatter you, our guide to swimwear for your body type is a good place to start.

Shopping with Voyara

If the mid-range suits you, our resort wear sets pair a swimsuit with a matching cover-up, so one purchase covers the pool and lunch. Swimwear can be exchanged for a size issue within 7 days if it's unworn with tags attached.
